From SplashTown Waterpark and Traders Village, to Sam Houston Race Park, Texas Renaissance Festival and incredible theater arts performances, Houston's Great Northwest has all. Check it out!

DAY ONE:

For great outdoor fun in the sun be sure to spend the day at SplashTown Waterpark in Spring. It's a waterland of fun for all ages.

Mountasia at Willowbrook Mall is the perfect way to end the day with miniature golf, go-cart racing, batting cages and an arcade for the experienced gamers.

Take in a great meal at Sweet Tomatoes and then sleep the night away at the nearby Hilton Garden Inn.

What a terrific day of family fun!

DAY TWO:

Want to go shopping? Traders Village is the largest, most visited flea market and festival complex on the Texas Gulf Coast. More than 1,000 dealers each weekend. Live concerts and festivals, festival foods and more.

If nostalgia is more to your liking, visit historic Tomball and shop for antiques, gifts and treasures from the past. Dine in one of the many tea rooms, eclectic restaurants and traditional eateries nearby.

After this busy day you might want to rest your head at the Courtyard by Marriott or another convenient lodge.

DAY THREE:

The Centrum at Cypress-Creek brings nationally and internationally recognized artists to northwest Houston.

The Texas Repertory Theatre Company hosts professional productions with actors from across the United States. Community theater performances by Playhouse 1960 and others give local and out-of-town tourists a real flavor of our rich theatrical roots in Houston's Great Northwest.

For full on-stage family fun you can't beat the Houston Family Arts Center. All performances are presented with your children in mind, so you know that it's all age appropriate and designed to hold their attention.

DAY FOUR:

If you are into sports, Houston's Great Northwest is for you. Sam Houston Race Park offers horse racing at its best through live racing and simulcasts throughout the year.

Nine of Houston's top rated public golf courses are located right here. From Gleannloch Farms to Blackhorse, you'll find no better place to tee it up all year 'round than in northwest Houston.

The new Texas Copperheads arena football franchise is based here in Northwest Houston. Playing their home games at the incredible Berry Center on Barker-Cypress Road, you can't get any closer to the indoor pigskin action.
